ST. LOUIS AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS:

WE WANT YOU TO HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

What if YOU could help change the way we talk about mental health in our schools and communities?

We’re looking for passionate, motivated, and caring St. Louis area high school students to apply to become Student Mental Health Ambassadors!

This is a highly selective volunteer leadership opportunity for students who want to do more than just talk about making a difference. They want to actually make one.

As a Mental Health Ambassador, you’ll help develop and share meaningful mental health information, resources, and ideas with schools, students, families, and community members throughout the St. Louis area.

WHY APPLY?

  • Make a real impact. Help support mental health awareness and make a difference in the lives of others.
  • Develop leadership skills. Build experience in communication, collaboration, advocacy, and community service.
  • Strengthen your college and career résumé. Gain valuable experience that helps you stand out.
  • Earn volunteer hours. Participation may count toward school-required community service hours.
  • Receive recognition. Ambassadors who successfully complete the year will receive a completion certificate and a letter of reference for college applications and/or future employment.

WHAT’S THE COMMITMENT?

  • Monthly virtual meetings
  • Up to 4 in-person meetings per year in the St. Louis area
  • A willingness to contribute ideas, work with others, and make a positive impact

APPLICATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 15, 2026, AT 11:59 PM

Interested students are encouraged to complete the application form below. Space is limited, and students will be selected through a competitive application process.

You don’t need to have all the answers. You just need to care enough to be part of the solution.

Your voice matters. Your ideas matter. And you might be exactly the person who helps another student feel less alone.

APPLY TODAY. HELP OTHERS. MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Please share with St. Louis area high school students, parents, teachers, school counselors, and administrators!
